From what I could see in the pic it is really a rough terrain...I mean I do ride a bike and on regular basis but I prefer my countryside a bit less muddy..and as far as the length of this viking tour goes...thumbs up man...I mean I don't think I'd make it to the end...I mean I never tried it..but just seems such a long distance..

Nice to come across another East Midlander whos going to do the VC. Im going to do it this year, so would be good to meet up.
Did it last year in all the Mud and was errrrr....interesting.
Ride around the south notts area (mostly on own), so if you fancy a ride sometime let me know.

Sunday morning sound good to you, about 8:00-8:30??? The ride should take no more than 3 hours.. No point starting at Redmile school as it goes straight onto the cannal towpath, and joins the viking way at the brick bridge!! Please let me know where you wish to meet up??

Thank's Redbike... Perry, most of the viking challenge is the viking way and Belvoir woods.. The only section of it I haven't got in my head yet is the old airfield off of viking way. I know it cuts back through Saltby then through Croxton kerrial, it's just the air field to Saltby bit.
I have done it on my own since doing the challenge but I'm not sure if my route to Croxton kerrial is correct. Apart from that, I know the route. If you wish to arrange a ride over the weekend, let me know..
